On the 29th of October I will be taking part in a charity event to raise money for the Emma Children’s Hospital. Goal is to raise money and awareness for children with selective mutism. This is a severe anxiety disorder in which young children are unable to speak in certain situations. He or she completely freezes in specific social situations, like for example school. These children often experience severe delays in their development. In the Netherlands only this already concerns hundreds of children. The Emma Children’s Hospital therefore needs budget for the development of a revolutionary VR treatment that allows them to give children throughout the Netherlands the right treatment.
